The Center for Gravitational Physics and Geometry, an inter-disciplinary research facility, was established at Penn State in the fall of 1993. It draws faculty and researchers from the departments of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Mathematics, and Physics, within the Eberly College of Science.
The administrative staff of the CGPG consists of: Abhay Ashtekar (Director), Pablo Laguna (Associate Director), and Karen Brewster (Administrative Assistant).
