Portfolio: Web Design

My first journey into webpage design produced this page, when I was a student in the astrophysics department at Penn State. At that time I was just using a webpage composer program, but later on I got into just hand-coding pages up on my own. Since then, besides re-doing my own homepages in a number of different layouts, I've also done work for...

Penn State Centers of Gravity:

These designs were created and implemented between October 2001 and July 2002. I was originally hired to provide a new graphic 'face' for the Center for Gravitational Physics and Geometry, as well as create websites for the newly-established Center for Gravitational Wave Physics and the Fourth International LISA Symposium, held at Penn State 19 - 24 July 2002.

This work gave me the chance to learn HTML coding by hand and a number of things about JavaScript, CSS, web forms, CGI, and such, as well as the usual honing of graphics skills.

The Floral Genome Project:

The following three layouts were created for the Floral Genome Project during Summer 2002.
